I adore AI and post-apocalyptic settings and I adore everything about this game. Poignant and tragic. Despite the somewhat minimalist format, so much is implied about the setting. There's a keen sense of loss, isolation, and beauty rising from the ruins of the old world - which you aren't privy to because you're only a remainder of the past, and everything is moving on without you. I love the art alerts/dream sequences and their abstract musings on human values and the protagonist's own loneliness. I love how your entire existence here is for the sake of a long-gone species you don't fully understand and never can. You're left grappling at remnants because it's all you can do.

The writing does an amazing job capturing setting and mood, the perfect balance of technical and poetic, so on-point. The computerized message formatting is great. This whole game is great. And that ending is the perfect capstone to all this, it's devastating but fits so well.

Having read the original seed this was based on, I also love how this game expands on it and works the concept into something larger. Fantastic experience.
